Vision, and Mission Statement
VISION:
Our vision is to provide a program where individuals can learn to be attentive to details, to broaden an individual's knowledge by teaching something new everyday which is followed from their commitment. To teach individuals to practice high communication skills between Coaches, Parents, and Teammates even if it is something that may not benefit them. To show commitment to their knowledge where they will learn something new everyday
VISION STATEMENT:
Our Vision is to have a satellite(s) that is part of something bigger. RGVA is the bigger picture we support, to show how powerful a team can be together rather than as individuals. We aim to provide a program for any and all levels of swimmers, where a group at their level of fitness is available.
MISSION:
Build Champions in, and out of the pool
Mission statement:
Our Mission is to provide an atmosphere where athletes can dream big, fail spectacularly, and achieve as never before, all while having fun… and that is what we define as a Champion.
Team Info
Our Mission is to provide a safe environment for all children in an atmosphere where athletes can dream big, fail spectacularly, and achieve as never before, all while having fun… and that is what we define as a Champion.
We provide a competitive year-round swim team for Age-group athletes, Senior athletes, and Master athletes.
What classifies an Age-group swimmer?
- Anybody below the age of 18 is an age group swimmer
- Anybody 18+ would be considered a master swimmer
- We split our age-group swimmers into two groups: our Juniors and Seniors
Age-Group Separations
- We split the Senior and Junior group into Bronze, Silver, and Gold training groups
- As well as Bronze 1, & 2 and the same with Silver and Gold which we refer to as training groups
Age Group Assignments
How do we assign athletes to a group?
- 3 main aspects we focus on-age, ability, and maturity
- As they move up we look at attendance, times, and willingness to work hard
We run both our Junior and Senior with these three aspects in order:
1. How to swim competitively
2. How to race
3. Team them how to train
Expanded:
#1. Focuses on teaching the needed knowledge to be able to go to a competition and not be disqualified.
#2. Focus on taking the knowledge to swim correctly and now asking them to do it fast
#3. Teaches them how to take the swimming fast at a competition and ask them to do it daily in practice in order to compete faster, and better.
